Thomas William Michaels of North Drive, Severna Park, Md., died on Jan. 31, 2023.

He was born in Butler on Oct. 1, 1963.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles William Michaels.

He is survived by his mother, Joan M. McTaggart; two brothers, Charles Edward (Christine) and Robert Andrew (Gretchen) Michaels; a sister, Jeanne (David) Maddox; four nephews; and one niece, all of Maryland.
