Jeremy C. Hughes Jr., 25, of Valencia, passed away on Monday, Feb. 13, 2023, at his home.

Born in Butler on June 4, 1997, he was the son of Renee Czech Vandenberghe and Jeremy Hughes Sr.

He was a 2015 graduate of Mars High School.

Jeremy was a cook at the Scoreboard Lounge in Valencia.

Surviving are his mother, Renee Vandenberghe (Peter) of Valencia; his father, Jeremy Hughes Sr. (Dori) of Newton Falls, Ohio; his brothers, Logan and Colin Vandenberghe, both of Valencia; his girlfriend of four years, Kayla Keil of Valencia; his maternal grandmother, Genevieve Czech (the late Greg) of Valencia; his paternal grandmother, Vivian Hughes of Evans City; his stepgrandparents, Val and Jim Vandenberghe of Valencia; and his aunts, uncles and cousins.

HUGHES — A celebration of life for Jeremy C. Hughes Jr., who died Monday, Feb. 13, 2023, will be held from noon until 3 p.m. Sunday at the Scoreboard Lounge, 6179 Route 8, Valencia.

Arrangements are under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
