McClimans

Margaret J. “Peggy” McClimans, 92, of Butler, passed away on Feb. 12, 2023, at Newhaven Court at Clearview.

She was born March 26, 1930, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late J. Leslie McClimans and the late L. Margaret Patten McClimans.

Peggy worked as a manager of operator services for Bell Telephone Company, retiring in 1983 after 35 years of service.

She was a member of North Street Christian Church, where she assisted with the church library.

Peggy was a member of the Butler Senior Women’s Club, and was formerly a volunteer at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Peggy is survived by several cousins.

MCCLIMANS — As per her wishes, there will be no visitation for Margaret J. “Peggy” McClimans, who died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at North Side Cemetery in Butler.

Arrangements were entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
