NWS: Level one potential for severe weather
There is a “level one” potential for damaging winds and isolated tornadoes late afternoon and evening Thursday in Butler County, according to the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh.
The severe weather outlook warns of severe weather mainly north and west of Pittsburgh with the highest chance of severe weather in the area of Zanesville and New Philadelphia.
Levels range from 1 to 5.
The service encourages residents in the affected areas to monitor the latest forecasts and watch for possible watches and warnings.
