2 people taken to hospital following box truck rollover in Oakland Township
OAKLAND TWP — Two people were taken to a hospital Monday, Feb. 20, after a box truck rolled onto its side on Route 68.
Crews responded to the 700 block of Route 68 around 9 a.m.
Firefighters on scene said the truck was traveling south on Route 68 and took a turn too fast, causing the driver to lose control, plow through a guardrail and off the road.
The truck overturned, and the driver and passenger were transported to Butler Memorial Hospital, one person for head and neck pain and another for pain on the right side.
Traffic continued flowing on Route 68 as crews worked to clear the scene and have the truck towed. Crews left the scene around 10:15 a.m.
Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department, East Butler Volunteer Fire Department ambulance and Butler Ambulance Service all responded to the crash.
