Thomas W. Miller Jr., 72, of Worthington, passed away unexpectedly at Butler Memorial Hospital on Feb. 17, 2023.

He was born in Kittanning on June 29, 1950, and was the son of the late Thomas Sr. and Alice Miller.

Thomas worked at Moonlight Mushroom in Worthington until its closing, and was presently employed at Applied Test Systems in East Butler.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Phyllis Miller, whom he married on Oct. 2, 1982, and who lovingly called him her “Gentle Giant.”

He was also affectionately known as Big Pop or Pap Pap and loved by Tammy (Eric) Reinsel, Barbara (Tom) Duggan, William (Debbie) Fleeger, Erica Reinsel, Troy (Nicholle) Reinsel, Taylor Reinsel, Meghan (Mitch) Rychorcewicz, Matthew Duggan, Corinna (Tyler) Weaver, Cody (Erin) Fleeger, Casey (Beriah) Good, Owen Reinsel, Camila and Evelyn Weaver, Isabel and Liam Fleeger, and Ezekiel Good.

Thomas is also survived by his siblings, Sandy Fair, Charles Miller and Michael Miller.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Arianne Reinsel.

MILLER — A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Thomas W. Miller Jr., who died Friday, Feb. 17, 2023.
