Police Reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
Feb. 16 — Amy S. Covell, 56, of Valencia, was charged with a misdemeanor of tampering with evidence. Police said she left a note with a fake phone number on it after she damaged a vehicle.
Feb. 15 — Cullen E. Bickham, 22, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and summary harassment. Police said he was banging on someone’s door loudly and repeatedly, causing disturbance.
Feb. 16 — John M. Smith, 43, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanors driving under the influence and use and possession of drug paraphernalia after he crashed his vehicle Jan. 3 on Route 19. Police said field sobreity tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of amphetamine, lorazepam, THC, benzoylecgonine and cocaine in his system. A crack pipe was also found in Smith’s vehicle, police said.
Feb. 16 — Jimmy Freehling, 22, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he removed product from outside of Sprankle’s Neighborhood Market without paying for it.
Feb. 17 — Kevyne L. Cadiente, 19, of Butler, was charged with a misdemeanor of filing a false report. Police said he reported a false carjacking incident.
Feb. 17 — Bernard J. Kurten, 32, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he took a total of $200 from his place of employment in Connoquenessing Township.
Feb. 16 — Jessica L. Schnur, 34, of Butler, was charged with two counts of felony theft. Police said she took a total of $15,749 in deposits from her place of employment in Center Township.
Feb. 16 — Ginger R. Lindsay, 34, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped her Jan. 8 on Spithaler School Road, Forward Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in her blood.
Feb. 16 — Dylan T. Dodd, 23, of Chicora, was charged with felony eluding an officer, misdemeanors use and possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and several traffic citations. Police said they pursued his vehicle on Main Street, Bruin, chasing it through the woods and onto a property on Hemlock Road before a short foot pursuit of Dodd. Police said he was found with a small amount of suspected methamphetamine, a smoking devise and glassine bags.
Feb. 16 — Brandon M. Caruso, 19, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he took someone’s credit card and spent $490 without permission.
Feb. 16 — Jayson K. Davis, 31, of McKeesport, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him Sept. 2 on Interstate 79, Lancaster Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Davis’ blood alcohol content at 0.119%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Feb. 15 — Julius L. Williams, 41, of Slippery Rock, was charged with a misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Feb. 10 on Route 8, Brady Township. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired.
