Hildebrand

Ruth Ann Hildebrand, 78, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 16, 1944, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Hale Brown and Christina Jane (McKinney) Brown.

Ruth was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She had worked at the bakery at Walmart and was a devoted wife, mother and nana.

Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Ralph E. Hildebrand of Butler; three daughters, Amy (Brad) Pitzer of Butler, Jill (Jermie) Stroud of Fuquay Varina, N.C., and Kristen (Jeffrey) Shimer of Phoenixville, Pa.; three grandchildren, Tarah, Christopher and Finley; four great-grandchildren; and her brother, James (Karen) Brown of Cabot.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.

HILDEBRAND — Friends of Ruth Ann Hildebrand, who died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, will be received from 10 a.m. until noon Friday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with her pastor officiating.

Interment will be held in the Butler County Memorial Park.
