Ryan Gloyer school wins recognition
Seneca Valley School District’s Ryan Gloyer Middle School was named a 2023 PA Don Eichhorn Schools: “Schools to Watch,” a Friday news release said.
The recognition, developed by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform, was awarded to 10 Pennsylvania middle schools during the Pennsylvania Association for Middle Level Educations State Conference that took place at the Crowne Plaza in King of Prussia on Feb. 26.
The school joined 38 other middle-grades schools recognized over the history of the program, which works in partnership with the Pennsylvania Association for Middle Level Education, Duquesne University, Edinboro University, Kutztown University and the Horace Mann Service Corporation.
The school will also be recognized nationally with all the other recognized “Schools to Watch” across the country in Washington, D.C., at the National Forum’s National Schools to Watch Conference, held from June 22 to 24.
