The 2023 recipient of the Jean B. Purvis Community Cornerstone Award has been announced.

Audray Muscatello Yost will receive the award for volunteerism at a dinner on April 21 at the Butler Country Club.

Muscatello Yost was chosen for the award because she has dedicated herself in many capacities through various organizations in the county, according to Kimberly Reamer, executive director at the Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center in Summit Township.

“Her focus is always to enrich the lives of Butler residents,” Reamer said.

“It is … Audray’s drive and passion that makes her a perfect representative of the Community Health Center and its mission,” she said.

The award dinner, the health center’s fifth, serves as a major fundraiser, according to Reamer.
