Icy roads could result from weekend cold
Black ice could crop up this weekend due to dropping temperatures and the potential for precipitation, according to the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh.
Lee Hendricks, meteorologist for the weather service, said low temperatures Friday morning could produce an 80% chance of snow.
“It’s going to warm up, so you’re not getting any accumulation, and it will turn to rain,” he said. “You’re only getting a light dusting Friday and Saturday mornings.”
