Woman ejected from Chicora crash flown to hospital
County dispatchers reported that a woman was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after she was ejected from her vehicle during a Wednesday night crash on Fairmont Road in Chicora.
Crews responded to a rolled-over vehicle in the front yard of 330 Fairmont Road around 6:51 p.m. First responders reported a woman laying in the front yard, and a medical helicopter was requested minutes later.
The helicopter landed in Chicora Elementary School’s parking lot around 7:15 p.m., where it flew the woman to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Chicora Volunteer Fire Department and Karns City Regional Ambulance responded to the crash.
