Police Reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
March 8 — Brian E. Leinenbach, 51, and Kristal L. Leinenbach, 37, both of Lyndora, were charged with misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said three glass crack pipes and empty stamp bags were found in their vehicle.
March 9 — John C. Kelly, 41, of Butler, was charged with felony driving under the influence, misdemeanors resisting arrest and obstruction of justice and multiple traffic citations after police said he crashed his vehicle Feb. 27 on Grandview Boulevard. Police said he ran from police and showed signs of impairment.
March 8 — James L. Cunningham Jr., 41, of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Jena K. Whittington, 30, of Wellsville, Ohio, were charged with felonies conspiracy and theft. Police said they left Home Depot with $557 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
March 8 — Joseph W. Zalin, 43, and Kari A. Lager, 36, both of Cheswick, were charged with conspiracy and theft. Police they left Walmart with $635 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
March 9 — Eric R. McWilliams, 22, of Edinboro, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing. Police said he was acting erratically at Sheetz and had to be asked to leave several times.
March 9 — Nicholas R. Long, 20, of Mill Hall, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him March 4 on West Lake Lane. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Long’s blood alcohol; content at 0.163%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
March 9 — Joseph C. Frano, 20, of Erie, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him March 5 on Rock Pride Drive. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Frano’s blood alcohol; content at 0.163%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
March 9 — Corrinne E. Harshberger, 20, of Portersville, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they stopped her Jan. 11 on New Castle Road, Prospect borough. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a small amount of marijuana and a glass smoking pipe were found in her vehicle.
March 9 — Richard G. Dufford, 59, of Slippery Rock, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs after police said he crashed his vehicle Feb. 5 on Election House Road, Franklin Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Dufford’s blood alcohol content at 0.148%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
March 9 — Richard A. Paskosky, 52, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said a Suboxone strip and 1.33 grams of crack cocaine were found in his vehicle.
March 8 — Brian J. Coughenour, 39, of Butler, was charged with felony DUI after police said they stopped him Jan. 16 on South Church Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.
March 8 — Aaron K. Wampler, 51, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him March 3 on West Penn Street, Butler City. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Wampler’s blood alcohol content at 0.162%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
March 8 — Stacy N. Tignor, 32, of Butler, was charged with a misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped her Feb. 6 on North McKean Street, Butler City. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired.
