Kennywood plans to open April 22 for its 125th season and with it the park plans to welcome some new enhancements for its quasquicentennial celebration.

The launch will include a new intergalactic multi-action spin ride called Spinvasion, a new alien-themed section of the park called Area 412, along with an in-park coffee shop called 1898 Coffee.

“Kennywood continues to elevate the guest experience with even more thrills and excitement, in what is sure to be the biggest and best season yet,” Kennywood assistant general manager Rick Spicuzza said.
