Crews responding to structure fire on Vogleyville Road
SUMMIT TWP — Those running or biking along the Butler-Freeport Trail had to maneuver around fire trucks Tuesday as fire departments responded to a structure fire on Vogleyville Road in Summit Township.
It was not immediately known what kind of damage the structure at 10 Vogleyville Road sustained. The structure was not visible from the road’s intersection with Herman Road, where traffic was directed.
The fire was reported around 11 a.m. A handful of crews remained on scene until at least 1:30 p.m. awaiting the fire marshal.
A first alarm was sounded, and a second shortly followed.
Tanker trucks could be scene backing up a long, narrow driveway to get to the fire.
This is a developing story.
