Seneca Valley considers grants
JACKSON TWP — Three grants of widely varying origins will be voted upon by the Seneca Valley School Board at its meeting next week.
The board will consider approving a $46,000 Gladys Brooks Foundation Grant requested by teachers Annie Mersing and Angela Kotula.
If approved and received, the grant will be used to host annual presentations for students in grades eight through 12 on online safety, the dangers of the internet, and the importance of digital citizenship.
Another grant, if received, would provide a $20,000 stipend for a school psychology intern who is studying for a master’s or doctoral degree.
