Police: Sword fight with sticks leads to charges for 2 men
Butler City police are accusing two men of using sticks to sword fight, according to charges filed last week.
A man was taken to the hospital for a facial injury after the fight, and both Thomas G. Eiler, Jr., 21, and Michael A. Simmer, 40, were charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment.
Police said around 3:30 p.m. April 11, callers reported an assault in the 300 block of East Locust Street. An ambulance was asked to respond for a male bleeding from the head.
