BUTLER TWP — A vehicle crashed into a Lyndora home Monday night, moving a front porch off its foundation, officials said.

Emergency crews responded around 9:15 p.m. to the 300 block of Main Street in Lyndora and found a Cadillac Escalade SUV had left the road and struck the house.

“Crews from the fire department checked the vehicle and building for hazards,” said Kevin Smith, chief of Butler Township Volunteer Fire District. “The vehicle moved a front porch about 3 feet off the foundation.”

No injuries were reported, and the house is still suitable for occupation, according to Smith. Crews stabilized the vehicle and shut off utilities to that area of the house.

Butler City Bureau of Fire and Butler Ambulance Service were among those that responded to the incident.
