Man falls from ladder, medical helicopter dispatched
Dispatchers at the county 911 center sent emergency medical personnel to McClymonds Trucking in Muddy Creek Township at about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, for a 60-year-old man who had fallen from a ladder at the business.
Dispatchers reported the man was unresponsive and not breathing, but told the ambulance crews a few minutes later that the man appeared to be breathing.
Portersville EMS was initially dispatched to the scene, and Slippery Rock EMS was called in to assist.
A landing zone was requested at about 11:30 a.m., indicating the man would be flown to a trauma center at a Pittsburgh hospital.
No further details were available late Wednesday morning.
