Police reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
April 7 — Zachary E. Smith, 31, of Butler, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanors terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment. Police said he chocked someone, headbutted them and burned their cheek and forearm with a cigarette.
April 5 — Daniel F. Tykarski, 26, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Walmart with $547 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
April 4 — Ashley E. Revell, 29, of Valencia, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor driving under the influence after police said she crashed her vehicle Feb. 18 on Steiner Bridge Road. Police said a field sobriety test showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed Revell’s blood alcohol content at 0.157%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 10 — Mason M. Beauregard, 20, of Pittsburgh, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of DUI after police said they stopped him on Kiester Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Beauregard’s blood alcohol content at 0.202%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 23 — Mark Degroot, 40, of Butler, was charged with felony theft. Police said he left Boscov’s with $1,407 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
April 21 — Chad Williams, 37, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony charges of burglary and criminal trespass and a misdemeanor charge of theft. Police said he allegedly entered a locked shed on Greenhill Road, Fairview Township, and took a water softener valued at $800.
April 21 — Brandon Evans, 42, of Hilliards, was charged with misdemeanor retaliation against a witness or victim, defiant trespass and disorderly conduct and a summary charge of criminal mischief. Police said he drove his truck on his neighbor’s property on Oneida Valley Road, Venango Township, and damaged the yard. Evans was cited and instructed not to return following a similar incident at the same property in February, police said.
April 20 — Seth Blizzard, 42, of Cranberry Township, was flown to UPMC Presbyterian with suspected head injuries after the car he was driving went off Route 19 in Muddy Creek Township and struck a parked vehicle.
April 10 — David T. Digiacomo, 44, of Slippery Rock Township, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of drug possession. Police said he was in possession of suspected marijuana, a metal grinder and a pipe.
April 10 — Nathan K. Page, 27, of St. Petersburg, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI after police said they stopped him March 6 on Route 8, Brady Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment and a later blood test showed traces of fentanyl and xylazine in his system.
April 10 — Ronnie P. Bellamy, 35, of Parker, was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI and drug possession after police said they stopped her Feb. 8 in Washington Township. Police said a field sobriety test showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in her blood.
April 10 — Gilbert E. Smith, 43, of Bruin, was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI and drug possession after police said they stopped him Jan. 24, 2022, at the intersection of School Street and Hook City Road, Parker Township. Police said a field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of fentanyl, methamphetamine, clonzepam and buprenorphine in his system. He also was found in possession of seven capped syringes, a smoking pipe and two unmarked brown capsules, police said.
April 10 — Amy T. Stepanian, 39, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped her at Sheetz on North Main Street Extension, Center Township. Police said a field sobriety test showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed Stepanian’s blood alcohol content at 0.187% with traces of benzolecgonine. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 10 — Shawn P. Kirkwood, 41, of Rural Valley, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him on Route 422, Clearfield Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in his blood.
April 10 — Flint R. Watson, 19, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him March 4 at Clearview Circle, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath tests showed Watson’s blood alcohol content at 0.156%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
April 10 — Lucille M. Unger, 35, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and drug possession after police said they stopped her Feb. 15 on Kittanning Pike, Parker Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and she was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
April 10 — Arthur B. Warsing, 54, of Chicora, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement after police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Dunham’s in Center Township.
