Mary Dietz

Mary Elizabeth Dietz, 80, of Saxonburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, with family at her side.

Born Aug. 5, 1942, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Mary Callen.

Mary married her husband, Louis Dietz, on Aug. 13, 1960, and they spent 60 years together before his passing in 2021.

She spent her life helping others and worked at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot, as a certified nursing assistant and in laundry personnel for over 30 years.

Mary loved playing bingo, reading Danielle Steel, doing word search puzzles, drinking Busch beer, spending time in her backyard and with her family and friends. She also loved watching “Days of our Lives” and watching her grandsons race at Lernerville Speedway.

Surviving are her children, Tim (Katie) Dietz of Butler, Dave Dietz of Vandergrift and Marcy (Regis) Boyle of Clermont, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Amber, Jacob, Lauren, Derek, Ashley, Zachary and Kaleb; seven great-grandchildren, Lexi, Tilly, Collin, Laurel, Corbin, Benjamin and Ella; her brother, Earl (Michelle) Callen; and her sisters, Crystal (James) Davis and Donna Painter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; her son, Louis Brian Dietz; and three brothers.

DIETZ — Visitation and services will be private for Mary Elizabeth Dietz, who died Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
