BRADY TWP — Four dogs and a ferret died in a fire Wednesday, May 3, at a mobile home on Lilac Lane, according to officials.

The family who resided at 130 Lilac Lane were not at home at the time of the fire, and five cats — a mother and four kittens — were rescued.

The cats received oxygen following the rescue and appeared to be in good condition, said Mike Pflugh of the Unionville Volunteer Fire Company.
