U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-16th, will host a dedication and renaming ceremony for the Butler Post Office, 345 S. Main St., in honor of local Civil War hero Andrew Gomer Williams at 11 a.m. Friday, May 5.

In 2022, Kelly led legislation, which unanimously passed both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, to rename the Post Office after Williams. In December, President Biden signed the bill into law.
