Carol M. Duncan, 64, of Middlesex Township, passed away peacefully at home on May 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was the beloved wife for 44 years to Earl W. Duncan.

She was the loving mother of Kelli (Josh) Rosswog, Shannon (Ben) Giovengo and Nathan Duncan; sister of Robert (Barbara) Ray, Joseph (Brenda) Love, Jane (Bruce) Hoover, Dale (Kristy) Love, and the late Robert Love and Ellen Ray; sister-in-law of Kathleen Duncan; dear grandmother of Levi, Everett and Vera Rosswog, and Capri, Lilah and Baby Boy Giovengo.

She was preceded in death by her biological mother, Jean Mardell Ray; and by her parents who raised her, Leroy and Pearl Marshall Love.

She devoted her life to the needs of her family, and always put others before herself. She spent her time managing the day-to-day needs for the family business.

She was a lifelong member of Glade Run Church, which included serving as a deacon, was a member of the hand bell choir, and participated in many mission trips.

Carol’s passions included decorating, traveling, antiquing, and anything to do with flowers. She enjoyed her time working at Pepper’s Flowers as a florist, putting her talents to use. She was known for her gardening skills and loved spending time on her back porch working in her flower beds. She loved cooking and baking especially brownies for her grandbabies, who were her pride and joy.

DUNCAN — Family and friends of Carol M. Duncan, who died Monday, May 8, 2023, are invited to a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Glade Run U.P. Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia.

The family suggests donations in Carol’s name to Multiple System Atrophy Coalition at www.multiplesystematrophy.org/donate/.
