Bartender charged in $3,455 theft from Butler Moose Lodge

City police have accused a bartender at the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge on Jefferson Street of taking thousands of dollars.

Cheyenne R. Page, 26, of Emlenton, was charged with felony theft on Monday, May 8. Police said she removed the funds from a deposit bag over a period of days.

Police were contacted by an associate of the lodge, who told them that Page was seen on surveillance footage taking money while she tended bar.

According to police, when Page was confronted with the accusation, she admitted to taking the funds.

While reviewing surveillance footage, police said Page was seen taking a total $3,455 over six days. Videos showed Page putting money from the cash box or deposit bag into her jacket, then transferring it to her purse.

Page’s preliminary hearing is scheduled May 26 before District Judge William Fullerton.
