BHS, Excela report financial losses in the millions
Butler Health System reported losing $33.1 million over a nine-month period ending in March of this year, according to financial reports.
The health system merged with Excela Health in January of this year, and according to other published reports, Excela lost $29.3 million in the same period.
Data shows the combined systems lost more than $62 million.
In the nine months ending March 31, 2022, Butler Health System’s losses were reported at $1.2 million, with Excela’s at $10.4 million.
