Caltrider

Daniel J. Caltrider, 41, of Tyrone, Pa., formerly of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

Dan was born in Butler on July 9, 1981, and was the son of Darlene Gamble and the late James Caltrider.

Dan had a larger than life personality, he knew someone no matter where he went. Danny had a great sense of humor, was a good storyteller, had a kindhearted soul, and loved sharing his life with family and friends. He had numerous talents, but was best known for being a phenomenal guitar player.

He was a great husband, father, son, brother and an excellent friend, and will be forever missed.

He was the husband of Jennifer (Gailey) Caltrider; son of Darlene (Randall) Werhnyak; father of Claire and Corbin Caltrider; and the brother of Christina Caltrider, Kris (Rachel) Werhnyak and Randy Werhnyak.

He is also survived by a large and loving family.

CALTRIDER — All services for Daniel J. Caltrider, who died Wednesday, May 17, 2023, will be held privately.

Arrangements are through SPENCER D GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
