Eric Weimer
Eric Scott Weimer, 54, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 23, 2023, while under the care of Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born on June 16, 1968, in Pittsburgh.
Eric leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 25 years, Shelly (Sheakley) Weimer, whom he married Oct. 11, 1997; his two sons, Nathan and Carson Weimer; his mother, Mary Ann Weimer of Butler; his brother, Dan (Laura) Weimer of Mars; his sister-in-law, Amy (Mike) Weimer-Newham; his brother-in-law, Mark (Tricia) Sheakley; three nieces; three nephews; and one great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Weimer; his brother, Robert M. Weimer; his father-in-law, Ed Sheakley; and his mother-in-law, Linda Bowers.
Eric was a 1987 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.
He was the owner of the Eric Weimer Allstate Agency in Conneaut Lake, and he was a certified financial planner.
Eric was truly one-of-kind. He was a thoughtful and caring man, who put everyone’s needs before his own. He was a man of faith. He was an amazing husband, father and son, and took great pride in his home and profession. He will leave behind a void in the many lives that he has touched.
WEIMER — Friends of Eric Scott Weimer, who died Tuesday, May 23, 2023, will be received for visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER OF CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, All Saints Parish, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, with the Rev. John Baver officiating.
