A Gibsonia woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Oneida Valley Road, Concord Township, on Monday, May 29, state police said.

Police said Kathie A. Stewart, 75, was traveling south on the road at 10:31 p.m. in a Hyundai Sonata when she lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons.

In the 1300 block of Oneida Valley Road, the vehicle left the right side of the road and struck a ditch. It then went airborne and traveled 97 feet before hitting the ground, documents showed.

Police said Stewart was found dead on scene.

County coroner William Young III said Stewart died of blunt force trauma to the neck and chest. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
