Varney, Barnes wedding
Denise Varney and Michael Barnes, of Connoquenessing Township, were united in marriage on April 15 at Armstrong Farms Fieldstone in Clinton Township. Stephen Zmigrosky officiated. A reception followed at Armstrong Farms Fieldstone.
The bride is the daughter of Hobert and Frances Rummel of West Leechburg. The bridegroom is the son of Betty Sturdevant of Saxonburg.
The honor attendant was Meghan Thomas of Chesapeake, W.Va. Bridesmaids included Annaleigh Gold and Harleigh Gold, both of Butler. The flower girls were Kenzleigh Gold and Blaikleigh Gold of Butler, and Charlotte Learn of Vandergrift.
Performing the duties of best man was Logan Thomas of Chesapeake, W.Va. Ushers included Kevin Rummel and Jeanne Rummel, both of Apollo, Pa.
The bride is a 1990 graduate of Apollo Ridge High School and a 1995 graduate of Citizens School of Nursing. She is employed by Medi Home Health of Pittsburgh.
The bridegroom graduated from Butler Senior High School in 1990 and Butler County Community College in 2017. He is employed by Armstrong Comfort Solutions of Connoquenessing Township.
Following a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the couple is making their home in Butler.
