Butler Area Senior High School
The commencement ceremony for Butler Area Senior High School will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 9, at Art Bernardi Stadium. If weather dictates, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the high school gymnasium.
These students will participate in the commencement program:
Annabelle Turner, class president, will give the welcome.
Autumn Gall, class vice-president, will introduce the commencement theme speakers: Luke Benkart and Savannah Briggs. These two students participated in auditions to speak on the commencement theme, “Adversity, Perseverance, Triumph.”
Emma Steadman, student council president, will announce the distinguished graduate.
Jack Teff, valedictorian, will deliver the class farewell.
Samantha Cornell will sing the national anthem in the opening and the alma mater at the closing of the ceremony.
Carlie Baker, class secretary, and Jillian Clark, class treasurer, will assist the board president and vice-president in handing out diplomas.
Twenty-one students will participate in reading the names of their fellow graduates.
The class officers are Annabelle Turner, president; Autumn Gall, vice-president; Carlie Baker, secretary; and Jillian Clark, treasurer.
