Freeport Area High School
Freeport Area High School’s commencement ceremony was held at 6 p.m. May 25 at Freeport Area High School.
The student speakers were Hadley Hellgren and Luke Glogowski.
Hadley Hellgren is the daughter of Sandy and Kurt Hellgren, of Sarver. She was a member of National Honor Society, president of Environmental Club, member of DECA, co-class officer of Key Club, co-captain of the volleyball team, and president of Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science. Hadley plans on attending the University of Pittsburgh with a major in environmental engineering.
Luke Glogowski is the son of Tom and Jamie Glogowski of Sarver. He was a member of National Honor Society, member of DECA and Key Club, co-captain of Lacrosse, Environmental Club, and editor of the newspaper. Luke plans on attending Dickinson College with a major in English.
Senior class officers were Ava Soilis, Drew Furer, Dean Furer and Elise Whitlinger.
