SEVEN FIELDS — For three days, Seven Fields Town Park will turn into a miniature version of Kennywood, complete with carnival games, rides, fair food and live music.

The annual Seven Fields Community Days Carnival opened Thursday evening, June 8, and will run through Saturday evening, June 10.

Despite a curtain of gray hanging overhead and some rain, the weather did little to dampen the enthusiasm of the young ones getting to experience their first taste of summer fun this year.

Carnival rides included such classic fare as the bungee jump, the gigantic slide, and the tilt-a-whirl. Attendees could also try their hand at classic carnival games such as the ring toss and water guns.
