Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

May 31 — Bryce Hamner, 18, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he threw someone against the wall and punched them.

Cranberry Twp

June 1 — Michael C. Loewel, 42, of Cranberry Township, was charged with counts of felony theft for two incidents at Target. Police said he left the store with $399 worth of merchandise on one occasion and $299 on another.

State police, Butler

June 7 — Donna S. Patterson, 54, of Sarver, was charged with felony child endangerment and misdemeanor reckless endangerment. Police said she left a 5-year-old child unattended.

June 6 — Edward J. Fleishner, 20, of Sarver, was charged with misdemeanors resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he showed signs of impairment and was combative with first responders. A later search of his residence yielded various drug paraphernalia and pills, according to police.

June 5 — Gemma R. Cohen, 20, of Conshohocken, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped her on Stadium Drive, Slippery Rock Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in her system. A later search yielded suspected marijuana, three glass smoking bongs, a glass smoking pipe, grinder and processing tray, police said.

June 5 — Jonathan W. Vandusen, 39, of Emsworth, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and drug possession after police stopped him on Route 422, Franklin Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. A search yielded suspected marijuana and a metal grinder, according to police.

June 5 — William L. Russell, 40, of West Sunbury, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on West Sunbury Road, Cherry Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Russell’s blood alcohol content at 0.249%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

June 5 — Brandi R. Blanton, 44, of Toronto, Ohio, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her on Route 422, Muddy Creek Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later breath tests showed Blanton’s blood alcohol content at 0.226%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

June 4 — Michael Woods, 43, of Sarver, was charged with felony acquisition of a controlled substance by misrepresentation and misdemeanor theft. Police said he took someone’s prescription medication.

June 4 — Sarah E. Schettler, 25, of Vonwinkel, Clarion County, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and resisting arrest after police stopped her at Vineyard Circle, Slippery Rock Township. Police said she showed signs of impairment and a later blood test showed Schettler’s blood alcohol content at 0.191%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

June 3 — Sara A. Rippel, 32, of Harrisville, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said she struck someone in the face.

June 2 — Andrew D. Allen, 51, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said he removed scrap metal from a property without permission.

June 2 — Rebecca L. Newman, 40, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her on Route 8, Penn Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed Newman’s blood alcohol content at 0.217%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

June 1 — Erik K. Dubois, 35, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony criminal trespass and misdemeanor theft. Police said he removed $500 worth of scrap metal from a property without permission.

June 1 — Jacob H. Stutz, 27, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Route 422, Summit Township. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.188%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

June 1 — Travis S. Bruno, 37, of Pittsburgh, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Bruin Road, Parker Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in his system.

June 1 — Michael D. Campbell, 36, of Murrysville, Westmoreland County, was charged with felony and misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Boscov’s with $954 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

May 31 — Lucille M. Unger, 35, of Sandy Lake, Mercer County, was charged with felony drug sales and misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was found with multiple bags of methamphetamine, a scale and vape pens.

May 31 — Tyler P. Baptie, 29, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felonies of possession of a firearm and theft, misdemeanors resisting and evading arrest, DUI, disorderly conduct, and use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped him on Boozel Road in Slippery Rock Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment and is prohibited from possessing a handgun due to his criminal history.

May 30 — Cory A. Stephens, 51, of Sarver, was charged with misdemeanors criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and vandalism. Police said he removed gravel placed by Clinton Township.

May 30 — Daniel W. Ernst, 30, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summaries harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said he shoved someone into a wall.

May 29 — Anthony R. Genaway, 29, of West Sunbury, was charged with felony strangulation, misdemeanor false imprisonment and summary harassment. Police said he grabbed someone’s throat three times.

May 27 — Stephen R. Nichols, 29, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor unauthorized use of motor vehicles. Police said he drove someone’s vehicle without permission.
