Kelly seeks reelection in 2024

Mike Kelly, R-16th, speaks with the staff of the Butler Eagle Tuesday, Oct. 18 at the Butler Eagle's office in Butler. Kelly is the incumbent candidate for the Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District in the November election.

U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-16th, announced Tuesday, June 20, that he intends to seek reelection in 2024.

If elected, it will be his eighth term after taking office in 2010.

“I have fought hard for the people and values of Western Pennsylvania, and I am asking for their support for another term. Together we have accomplished so much – and I would like the opportunity to continue to bring our values to Washington, D.C., while bringing our taxpayer dollars back home,” Kelly said in a statement.

Kelly represents all of Erie, Crawford, Mercer, Butler, and Lawrence counties and a third of Venango.
