Former atheist will talk to young people on purpose, meaning of life
A pizza dinner for young adults will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 at Zion Lutheran Church in Concord Township.
After dinner, Bill Oehlschlager, director of the Butler-based Lutheran Lay Renewal of America, will discuss finding purpose and meaning in life with the young adults who attend, and how the Christian faith can help.
Oehlschlager said because he was an atheist from age 16 to 27, he has many insights into questions of God and faith that match the questions of young adults.
Zion Lutheran Church is at 266 Zion Church Rd., Chicora.
