Members of Boy Scout Troop 58 assisted the Mars VFW Post 7505 in retiring worn and tattered U.S. flags in a special ceremony recently.
Before the service, the troop presented a carved wooden eagle to the VFW post as a show of thanks for the use of their facilities for troop meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic. The eagle was donated by the Kennihan family.
