Geibel, Christie
Bethany Rose Geibel, of Butler, and Nicholas Stevens Christie, of Chicora, were united in marriage on April 22, 2023, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church. The Rev. Matt McClain officiated. A reception followed at General Richard Butler Vagabonds Hall in Butler.
The bride is the daughter of Leonard and Pamela Geibel of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Michael and Tiffany Christie of Petrolia.
The honor attendant was Caitlyn Wilbert of Butler. Bridesmaids included Kierra Hufnagel of Butler and Kylie Tirk of Cabot. The flower girl was Oceana Geibel of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Brandon Geibel of Cabot. Ushers included Alex Christie of Petrolia and Ashton Grossman of Slippery Rock. The ring bearers were Maverick Hartman and Blake Seybert, both of Fenelton.
The bride is a 2017 graduate of Butler Senior High School and a 2019 graduate of Butler County Community College.
She is employed by Penn United Technologies in Jefferson Township.
The bridegroom graduated from Moniteau High School in 2017.
He is employed by Valerie Grossman Construction of Slippery Rock.
Following a honeymoon journey on historic Route 66, the couple is making their home in Chicora.
