A box truck crashed into McBride Station Bar and Grill on Route 8 in Penn Township on Monday, June 26.

Reports of the crash came in around 9:30 p.m., and according to emergency dispatchers, the vehicle’s front-end was completely inside the building.

The truck hit the left side of the building, damaging a small elevated stage and dance floor area.

The bar was open at the time of the crash, and crews worked until late Monday to clear the scene.

Penn Township police and fire department and Butler Ambulance Service responded to the crash.

The bar and grill will stay closed until further notice, according to a sign posted on the establishments entrance.
