Herb Brittner’s Smokehouse, of Zelienople, received two grand championship awards in a product competition May 13 in State College at the 82nd annual Pennsylvania Association of Meat Processors convention.

Herb Brittner’s beef jerky and American cheese beef sticks won first place in their categories.

The association represents meat processors in Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut.

Herb Brittner’s has been in business for more than 40 years with a presence in Zelienople and Cranberry Township.
