Fire departments respond to late night fire at Thiele Farm

Multiple fire departments were called to battle a building fire at Thiele Farm on Route 356 late Thursday night.

The fire at the farm, located in the 700 block of Route 356, was reported just before midnight, according to dispatch.

“Our hoop building that has over 100 round bales of hay in it is on fire. It is about 25 feet from the dairy barn. The fire department is here now,” Thiele Farm said in a Facebook post made around that time.

According to dispatch, one building containing hay bales was affected.

The extent of the damage is not immediately known.

Crews remained on scene until just after 4 a.m.
