Butler woman crowned Miss White Rose City
Samantha Roth, 23, of Butler, was named Miss White Rose City in January by the Miss Pennsylvania organization, and competed in the Miss Pennsylvania pageant in June.
Roth will continue to represent Miss White Rose City at events locally and across the state during her reign.
Roth, a former employee of Butler Florist, participated in the Show Us Your Shoes Parade at the pageant in June by festooning her footwear with flowers.
She is an eight-time recipient of the Presidential Award for community service, and has collected essential items for VOICe, Head Start, and the Grapevine Center through her project Girl Boss Boxes since her reign as Miss White Rose City began in January.
Roth has accepted a position as a choreographer and dance teacher in Mars. She is active at Butler Little Theatre and Musical Theatre Guild, and is currently serving as choreographer for the Summer Dramatics Project’s presentation of “The Little Mermaid.”
She is the daughter of Jeff and Arlene Roth of Butler.
