Due to rainy and unpredictable weather conditions, a handful of local municipalities and communities will be rescheduling their fireworks shows.

Mars announced Monday, July 3 that its fireworks show which was scheduled for later Monday evening will now be moved to Saturday, July 8 according to the borough’s website.

The show is slated to start at dusk on Saturday, which will be between 9 and 9:30 p.m. according to the borough.

West Sunbury’s fireworks show, which was also planned for Monday evening, has also been rescheduled, according to the West Sunbury Volunteer Fire Department and will now take place at dusk Friday, July 7.

The fireworks display in Evans City was rescheduled from July 2 to July 4, according to the Evans City Lions Club. It is instead set to take place at dusk on July 4.
