Sandra “Sandy” A. (Metzler) Underwood, 79, of Zelienople, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023, in the comfort of her home.

She was the daughter of the late Paul and Marilyn Metzler.

Sandy was Protestant by faith and was a bookkeeper and homemaker.

She was the beloved wife for 53 years of Charles E. Underwood, whom she married on March 21, 1970, who survives. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Sandy was preceded in death by her brother and sister, the late Paul Metzler and Jean Hahn; and her brother-in-law, Jean’s husband James Hahn.

UNDERWOOD — Services for Sandra “Sandy” A. (Metzler) Underwood, 79, who died Sunday, June 25, 2023, were held privately and entombment was in the Zelienople Community Mausoleum, with the Reverend Gail Davis officiating.

Private arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
