1 flown to hospital after Connoquenessing Township crash
A Butler man was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash Sunday, July 9, in Connoquenessing Township, state police said.
The crash occurred around 10 p.m. on Stevenson Road, when police said Robert S. Isaacs Jr., 57, was driving too fast for conditions in a 1978 Jeep Wrangler.
While traveling west, Isaacs lost control of the vehicle and it hit an embankment on the right side of the road,, according to the crash report.
Police said the vehicle rolled over, injuring Isaacs. He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital via LifeFlight.
Butler Ambulance Service, Butler Township Volunteer Fire District and Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company also responded to the crash.
