Police Reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
July 7 — Louis M. Kowal, 28, of Valencia, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he sucker punched someone.
July 9 — Derek S. Lowers, 30, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault. Police said he punched and kicked someone.
July 6 — Kimberly Heard, 37, and Yvonne Jackson, 18, of Butler, were charged with disorderly conduct. Police said there were multiple instances of them fighting in public.
July 6 — Robert M. Gearhart, 32, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after he crashed his vehicle on Zehner School Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.190%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
July 6 — Joseph P. Pacella, 47, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said he had continued interactions with his neighbors after being asked not to.
July 10 — Nickee L. Shish, 37, of Creekside, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Sportsman’s Supply Co. in Summit Township.
July10 — Neil S. Shearer, 30, of Cabot, was charged with misdemeanors of drug possession. Police said a small amount of marijuana and two THC cartridges were found in his vehicle.
July 10 — April D. Hemphill, 37, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor obstruction of justice and false identification to an officer. Police said she gave a false name to officers and was found to have an arrest warrant out of Butler County.
