Car crashes into convenience store on Main Street
It was anything but an easy stop Friday for the woman who drove her vehicle into the front of the EZ Stop convenience store on North Main Street in Butler.
Nobody was injured, according to owner Azeem Chatter, of Wexford. However, two windows did shatter, and bricks under the windows were damaged.
“We’re not going to close down,” Chatter said. “We’re just going to board it up. Hopefully in a week they can fix this.”
This is not the first time a motorist crashed their vehicle into the building, Chatter said.
“It’s why I put (parking stop blocks) in,” Chatter said.
Butler city police responded to the crash at 6:04 p.m.
