Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Buffalo Twp

July 10 — William E. Myers, 36, of Star Junction, was charged with misdemeanor accidents involving property damage. Police said he left the scene of a crash without providing information.

Butler

July 14 — Clark J. Cook, 37, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors terroristic threats and harassment. Police said he threatened to burn down a house.

Butler Twp

July 10 — Robert M. Pacelli, 53, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor accidents involving property damage. Police said he left the scene of a crash without providing information.

Cranberry Twp

July 11 — Carley A. Leon, 30, of Cranbery Township, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and simple assault after police stopped her on Route 19. Police said she punched and scratched someone in a fight and left the scene in her vehicle. A later blood test showed Leon’s blood alcohol content at 0.172%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

July 10 — Ryan N. Burns, 37, of Greenville, was charged with felony retail theft and misdemeanors drug possession and false identification to an officer. Police said he left Home Depot with $3,817 worth of merchandise without paying for it and was found in possession of suspected heroin.

Middlesex Twp

July 10 — Kathleen D. Brunson, 64, of Allison Park, was charged with misdemeanor driving with a suspended license. Police said she is not certified to drive and her vehicle inspection was expired.

State police, Butler

July 14 — Layne D. Kriebel, 36, of Petrolia, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summaries harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said he struck someone in the face.

July 14 — Richard A. Dematteis Jr., 59, of Boyers, was charged with felonies drug sales and possession of a firearm without a license and misdemeanors use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said suspected crack cocaine, pills, digital scales, Chore Boy and a loaded revolver were found in his vehicle. Police said Dematteis is not permitted to possess a firearm due to his criminal history. Chore Boy is often used in the process of smoking crack cocaine.

July 12 — Kelsey E. Simons, 22, of Butler, was charged with two counts of felony drug sales and four counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said she sold crack cocaine and fentanyl to a confidential informant.

July 11 — Rick A. Kriess Sr., 47, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he took a wallet from Dollar General.

July 10 — Brandon M. Wojno, 29, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said a small amount of marijuana was found on his person.

July 10 — Matthew D. Todd, 39, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped him on Mahood Road, Clay Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and that a THC vape pen was found on his person.

July 10 — Nicole A. Weltz, 49, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her on West Diamond Street in Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired.

July 10 — Michael G. Watt, 46, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors drug possession and theft. Police said suspected marijuana, suspected gabapentin, smoking pipes, syringes, a digital scale and Chore Boy were found in his vehicle. Chore Boy is often used in the process of smoking crack cocaine. Watt also was charged with felony contraband and misdemeanor drug possession after police said he was found with a bag of suspected methamphetamine when being processed at the Butler County Prison.
