Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

July 16 — Aidan P. Sperdute, 19, of Mars, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanors simple assault and disorderly conduct. Police said he put his hands around someone’s neck.

Butler City

July 17 — Mark E. Boyle, 33, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors indecent and simple assault. Police said he inappropriately touched someone and bit them.

July 13 — Brittany N. Everetts, 33, of Parker, was charged with felony contraband and misdemeanor drug possession. Police said she had a crack pipe and suspected fentanyl and heroin in her possession when being processed in the Butler County Jail.

Butler Twp

July 17 — Bradley J. Bender, 22, of Butler, was charged with felony strangulation, misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he placed his hands around someone’s neck and pushed them.

Cranberry Twp

July 19 — Andrew W. Fritz, 32, of Portersville, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Walmart with $335 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

July 19 — Ryan N. Burns, 37, of Greenville, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Home Depot with $885 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

July 18 — Charles C. Edwards, 71, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Route 19. Police said he showed signs of impairment, and a later blood test showed traces of oxycodone and THC in his system.

Jackson Twp

July 13 — Payge E. Linkenheimer, 27, of Harmony, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing. Police said she refused to leave a residence three times.

State police, Butler

July 17 — Kristen D. Rugg, 43, and Ryan J. Todd, 45, both of Karns City, were charged with felony theft and misdemeanors drug possession. Police said smoking pipes, suspected crack cocaine, digital scales and other paraphernalia were found in their home and a stolen vehicle was found on the property.

July 17 — Tammy L. Palmeri, 49, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her on West Penn Street, Butler city. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.099%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

July 15 — Nicolas R. Goehring, 23, of Portersville, was charged with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he threw someone down the stairs.
