Crash involving tractor trailer on Interstate 79 sends 2 to hospital
Two people were taken to the hospital following a collision between a double-trailer tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle Tuesday night, Aug. 2, on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.
The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 79 near mile marker 101, according to Ryan Hanchosky, chief of Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team.
Hanchosky said the crash occurred when a passenger vehicle was traveling north in the left lane and the driver lost control. The car collided with a truck pulling two trailers traveling north in the right lane.
